ORDERING PLUG TRAYS

When to Order

Please allow approximately six weeks growing time for your plugs.  Plan accordingly when setting your planting dates.

• For Farmers

Plug trays are for farmers for field transplanting; not for resale. 

• For Retail Clients

If you are interested in retailing our plants, please contact us regarding our 4" potted material.  We offer a great selection of heirloom, open polinated and quality hybrid varieties for garden retail centers.

Greenhouse Space

Prior to placing an order, please email YMF to confirm that we have greenhouse space for your order.  If you do not have email access, please leave a phone message and we will contact you regarding your order.

Minimum Order

YMF minimum order is $100 per planting date; this minimum level requires plant pick-up at the farm..

Delivery/Handling Fee

Metro Atlanta

To receive delivery services, a minimum $300 order is necessary per delivery per planting date for metro-Atlanta area deliveries arranged a convenient location.  This delivery area is generally defined as within 20 miles of the I-285 and I-75 corridors. 

Athens or Macon, GA, or Chattanooa, TN

For deliveries to Athens or Macon or Chattanooa, a minimum of a $500 order per delivery per planting date is required.

Other Locations

If your farm is outside of these listed areas, please contact us for order and delivery information.  Different order minimums/delivery charges may apply.

NOTE:  Minimums can be met by grouping your orders with your farm neighbors.  This is an easy way to receive deliveries to your area, but please place only ONE order for your group.

Which Seeds?

Do I buy my own? or Do I use Youngs Mill Seeds?

YMF carries many untreated and organic seed varieties. 

The maximum number of trays you can order (from the YMF Seed List) per variety is 5 - 128 cell trays or 4 - 200 cell trays.  Otherwise please provide YMF with your fresh, untreated and/or organice seed.

Remember - please confirm ahead of time that we have speace and are accepting orders before you send YMF your seed.

Are You A Certified Organic Grower?

If you are a certified organic grower, please check with your certifying agent for pre-approval of your seed selections prior to placing an order.
